Is Your Posture Contributing to Discomfort?
Posture varies naturally from person to person. If certain positions or activities are associated with discomfort, we can assess your symptoms, movement and daily habits to develop a personalized plan.
Forward-Head Posture
Assessment of neck mobility, muscular endurance and daily activities to help address associated stiffness or discomfort.
Rounded Shoulders
Individualized exercises and movement strategies that may help improve shoulder comfort and function.
Tech Neck & Desk Discomfort
Support for neck and upper-back discomfort associated with prolonged screen use and repetitive work habits.
Upper-Back Stiffness
Assessment of thoracic mobility, muscle tension and movements that may be contributing to your symptoms.
Lower-Back Discomfort
Personalized advice and rehabilitation for back pain associated with prolonged sitting, standing or activity.
Repetitive Strain & Work Habits
Practical recommendations for workstation setup, activity variation and exercise based on your needs.
Posture Correction Is More Than Standing Up Straight.
There isn't one ideal posture that everyone needs to maintain. Our approach focuses on how you move, what causes discomfort and how we can help develop the strength, mobility and habits that support your daily activities.
We combine assessment, hands-on treatment when appropriate, individualized exercises and practical ergonomic guidance to develop a plan around you.
How We Approach Posture Correction
Your care is tailored to your assessment findings, comfort level and functional goals. Treatment may include one or more of the following approaches.
Posture & Movement Assessment
We assess relevant joint movement, muscle function and how your symptoms relate to daily activities. Your chiropractor explains the findings and options.
Chiropractic & Manual Therapy
Chiropractic adjustments, mobilization and soft tissue techniques may be used to address suitable pain and movement concerns.
Strengthening & Mobility Exercises
An individualized exercise program may focus on neck and shoulder endurance, upper-back mobility, trunk strength and movement relevant to your goals.
Ergonomics & Everyday Habits
We provide practical guidance for workstations, screen positioning, activity breaks and ways to vary your movement throughout the day.
Good Posture Doesn't Mean Holding One Position All Day.
Your body is designed to move. Instead of trying to maintain one rigid position, we help you explore comfortable movement, build strength and find practical ways to change positions throughout your day. The goal is better comfort, function and confidence in everyday activities.

Posture Correction FAQs
Can a chiropractor help with posture?
A chiropractor can assess musculoskeletal symptoms, movement and functional concerns associated with your posture. Care may include hands-on treatment, exercises and advice tailored to your assessment findings. Not everyone needs treatment simply because their posture looks different.
Can you help with forward-head posture and rounded shoulders?
We assess your neck, shoulder and upper-back movement, muscle function and any associated pain or stiffness. Care may include individualized strengthening, mobility exercises and ergonomic recommendations.
How long does posture correction take?
There is no standard timeline. Progress depends on your symptoms, goals, daily activities and how you respond to treatment and exercise. Your chiropractor will review your progress and discuss an individualized plan.
Do I need to sit perfectly straight all day?
No. There is no single ideal posture everyone must maintain. Changing positions regularly, staying active and finding comfortable ways to move are often more useful than holding a rigid position.
Will I need chiropractic adjustments?
Not necessarily. Treatment depends on your assessment findings and preferences. Exercise, mobility work, education and other approaches may also be part of your plan.
Are you open seven days a week?
Yes. Perfect Posture is open Monday through Sunday. We offer weekday and weekend appointment options. Availability varies by chiropractor, so please check our online booking system for current appointment times.
Can I book a weekend posture assessment?
Weekend appointments are offered on Saturdays and Sundays. Check our online booking system for available times with your preferred chiropractor.
Do you offer direct billing?
Direct billing is available with participating insurers when your plan permits it. Coverage and reimbursement depend on your individual policy.
Do I need a doctor's referral?
A referral is generally not required to book chiropractic care in Ontario. Some insurance plans have additional reimbursement requirements, so check your policy.
