A Physiotherapist Focused on Your Recovery.

Raluca Alb is a Registered Physiotherapist dedicated to helping patients recover from injuries, improve mobility and return to the activities that matter most to them.

Her approach combines therapeutic exercise, hands-on manual therapy and patient education to develop individualized treatment plans. She works with sports injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, back and neck pain, arthritis and postural concerns.

Raluca holds a Master of Science in Physiotherapy from Glasgow Caledonian University in the UK and is registered with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario.

Your Physiotherapy Questions, Answered.

What should I expect at my first appointment?

Your physiotherapist will review your medical history, discuss your symptoms and goals, and perform an appropriate physical assessment. Based on the findings, you'll discuss a personalized treatment plan. Treatment may begin during your initial appointment when appropriate.

Do I need a doctor's referral?

In Ontario, a doctor's referral is generally not required to see a registered physiotherapist. However, some extended health insurance plans may require a referral for reimbursement. Check your plan before booking.

Is physiotherapy covered by insurance?

Many extended health insurance plans offer physiotherapy coverage. Coverage amounts and requirements vary depending on your insurer and individual policy. Contact our clinic to ask about direct billing options.

How many treatments will I need?

The number of appointments depends on your condition, recovery goals, medical history and response to treatment. Your physiotherapist will discuss an appropriate plan following your assessment and adjust it as you progress.

What should I wear to physiotherapy?

Comfortable clothing that allows you to move freely is recommended. Depending on the area being treated, shorts or a loose-fitting shirt may be helpful. Bring any relevant medical reports or imaging results if available.
